IRA ALLEN HOUSE A delightful inn on the historic route 7 A. Built in the late 18th century, the house oozes old world charm. Rooms are based on themes and our was Remebering Baker suite, on a trout theme with a fireplace. However, best part of the Inn are the innkeepers Michael and Kevin..execellent cooks and enthusiastic guides..full of smiles. Don't forget to request Michael to play a short tune on the piano. He is divine and the whole house just comes alive with his music.

Manchester is nice with lots of restaurants and shops.

I had a wonderful stay at the Ira Allen House. It's a very beautiful home built in the 1700s and retains much of that Colonial charm. The innkeepers Michael and Kevin were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. This is a great location because it's close to town, but also far enough away where you can enjoy the quiet and beauty of the surrounding land. Breakfast was delicious as well. Would love to stay again on my next trip to the Manchester area.

Kevin is a wonderful host. They baked fresh cookies and had fruit that you could enjoy. There is seating everywhere near fireplaces and books to look at. Pianos in multiple rooms. Coloring book for kids and lots of board games.

Everything here is breathtaking. Glad we found this beautiful place.

We absolutely love this place. It's our first trip here but what an amazing experience it is. This place is so warm and full of amazing little things everywhere. Every room is decorated so beautifully that it's just breathtaking.

Great service and cool suite for a bnb

There's a stream/river that flows right in front of the Ira Allen House. They have private access to it. There was lots of snow right when we visited but we love snow.

We loved our breakfast. The yogurt parfait was heavenly. The pancakes are delicious with local maple syrup.

I briefly visited the Ira Allen House to see family staying there. It is very nice and historic. Four people stay in a two bedroom suite. The lounge on the first floor is very rustic with a large fireplace. It is a short drive from Manchester VT.
